The Fuselage Kit, page three

The manual aileron trim installation. It's a bit tricky to run that cable down and around, but the finished setup works fine. I had to open up the hole in the nylon bearing block somewhat..it was just too tight on the aluminum rod that slides left and right through it.

The Whelan strobe power supply. I used two, .125" alloy bars as mounting plates bolted to the floor ribs to mount it on. The cables have their shields grounded at one of the mounting bolts. We'll see if this keeps noise under control.

The panel. I need some longer screws for the two remaining instruments. Yet another trip to the hardware store cometh. This layout may be old fashioned, but it's time tested!

The backside of all the panel gadgets. See how long the Val Com 760 radio is? Well, it just barely clears the baggage bulkhead. It will work, but the wiring harness will need to be neatly done and protected from chafing.

The overall side view. Stands tall on the gear, doesn't it? ;)

More to come soon!
