1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 lb. Caramel squares
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chocolate chips
Unwrap caramel squares. Place in microwave dish. Add 1/3 cup of evaporated milk. Mix 1 box German chocolate cake mix and 1/4 cup of melted butter and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk to paste. Take 1/2 of cake paste. Press into bottom of cake pan that has been greased.
Cook 6 minutes in oven at 350 degrees. Melt caramel squares in microwave starting at 2 Minutes on high; stir, then every 1 min. Stir. Do so until melted.
Spread 1/2 cup chocolate chips over cooked cake mix. Pour melted caramels on another 1/2 cup of chocolate. Spoon rest cake mix paste. Cook for 16 minutes at 350 degrees.
