CLAM CHOWDER
 

    6 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    Discard 1/2 fat. Saute 1 chopped medium onion in bacon
    grease. Add 2 cans cream of potato soup. Once boiling
    add 2 cans of homogenized milk. Stir constantly; then
    add one can minced clams and one teaspoon lemon juice.
