COCONUT PECAN BALLS

1 c margarine
1/4 t salt
1/2 c sugar
4 doz pecan halves
2 t vanilla
1 egg white
2 c flour
1 T water
1-1/2 flaked coconut

Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla. Add flour and salt. Refrigerate if soft. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Shape dough around 1 pecan to form a 1" ball. Beat egg white and water with fork. Dip balls in egg whites; roll in coconut. Bake 1" apart on ungreased sheets for 14 min. until light brown. Store in airtight container.
