CRACKER JACKS

2 Cups brown sugar 2 sticks margarine
1 Cup white corn syrup
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 gal popped corn
1 Cup peanuts (optional)

Place popped corn in large roaster. Combine in sauce pan brown sugar, oil, margarine and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and boil five (5) minutes. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.  Pour over popped corn.   Bake at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour out on waxed paper. Break apart. Keep in an air tight container.
