HARD CANDY

3-3/4 c white sugar
1-1/2 c karo white syrup
1 c water
1 tsp flavoring
food coloring

Sprinkle some confectioner's sugar on a sheet of foil. Mix ingredients in heavy saucepan. Boil without stirring to 310 degress or until mixture threads. Remove from heat; stir in flavoring and color. Pour onto foil. Cool. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container. Makes 2-1/4 lb.
