1# stew meat cut into 3/4" cubes
2 T cooking oil
3 c beef broth
2 cloved garlic, minced
1 t dried basil
1/4 t salt
1/4 t pepper
2 c peeled poataos cut into 1/2" cubes
1-1/2 c sliced carrots
1-1/2 c sliced celery
1-1/2 c onions
1/2 c dairy sour cream
3 T flour
Brown Meat in hot oil. Add broth, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in carrots, celery, onions, potatos. Return to boiling, reduce heat. Cover, simmer 30 min or until tender. Mix sour cream and flour together. Add 1/2 cup hot liquid into sour cream mixture. Return to pan. Cook and stir until bubbly (for one minute).
