ITALIAN COFFEE CAKE

3-1/2 C flour
3/4 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 t salt
3/4 C Wesson oil

Mix together with spoon and take out 3/4 cup for topping.

Add:

1 egg
1 t soda
1 t baking powder
1 t nutmeg
1 C buttermilk

Mix well. Pour in greased pan. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of cake along with 3/4 cup topping and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Optional: 1 cup coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
