PEPPER STEAK

1-1/2 lb round steak cut in 1/2" strips
1/4 C flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/4 C oil
1 C tomatoes
1-3/4 C water
1/2 C chopped onions
1 sm clove garlic, minced
1 T beef flavored gravy base
1-1/2 t Warcestershire sauce
2 lg green peppers, cut in strips
hot cooked rice

Coat Steak With flour, salt and pepper and brown in oil. Add tomatoes, water, onions, garlic and gravy base to meat. Simmer until steak is tender. Stir in Worchestershire sauce and green pepper strips. Cover and simimer for 5 minutes. May add chicken gravy and cook for 5 minutes more. Serve with hot cooked rice.
