I was just getting over the tragic loss of Chris Farly when, out of the blue...........
I was cleaning my room, emtpying some drawers and weeding through a lot of waste. I had been listening to CDs all morning and was looking for a change. When the last CD I really wanted to listen to was over, I just clicked right on to the radio, not even minding what station it was. A couple songs come and went, then a news short. I didn't think anything of it because of how routine they are, but this one wasn't going to be another routine news breif. "Phil Hartman, known for.......," began the story. Without thinking twice, I knew that something was wrong. Then, the DJ finished his sentence, ".....was found dead, an apparent victim of a murder suicide. We are not sure of any details, but as the become available, we will share them with you."
Needless to say, my heart sunk. Death is hard to take in any circumstance, but when it was someone who is special, it takes your grief to a new plain. Within seconds I found myself thinking about the countless instances where I was entertained by the talent of Phil Hartman. In death, I believe Mr. Hartman would want us to remember all of the joy he brought into our lives. Please take from this site, a lasting memory of great talent, of great humor, and a sense of releif.
I honestly pray to God that the childeren of Mr. and Mrs. Hartman can somehow recover from this horrific event. The entire situation is still not known, but every day brings a new fact to the story. In any event, we have to remember the childeren, and help them as good as we can, to remember the good in their parents, and somehow, go on with their lives.
