Two Weeks later

Sun lit up John Ross’s office nicely, that was one reason he chose the space. John sat there flipping through papers. He couldn’t believe that Starr had beaten him to another deal. 3 deals in 2 weeks. But how? The office is debugged every day so that couldn’t be it. The only other option, someone in Ewing Oil was a trader.

“Selena, will you please come in here.” John spoke into the air like there was someone there.

“Yes sir?” Selena walked in.

“Please shut the door and sit down. Would you care for a drink?” John got up and walked over the wall opposite his desk, he pushed a button and the bar appeared.

“No sir, thank you.” Selena said as she sat down and crossed her legs.

“I’m going to be frank Selena, there is a spy in Ewing Oil. No I’m not accusing you, but we have, in the years that Ewing Oil has been operating, several secretaries who have let deals slip to outsiders.” John sipped his drink and sat down.

“Sir, I haven’ told anyone about the deals, no one is blackmailing me, and no one can pay better than you.” Selena uncrossed her legs and ran one hand up her right thigh.

John Ross smiled, “I know, but I just wanted you to know that if, for any reason you feel like you are in a corner you can come to me." John Ross stood up and walked over to her.

“I know, thanks.” Selena stood up and the two kissed.

Sam sat in his office looking out over Dallas. Just a few buildings from Ewing Oil. Sam smiled at the thought of John Ross being pissed off over the past deals. Sam was deep in thought when Grant walked in.

“Sam, They found Frankie.” Grant said has he walked up to the desk.

“Where?” Sam asked turning his seat around.

“In Knoxville, Tennessee.”

“Knoxville?” Sam thought for a minute. “Grant what college did the Ewing girls go to?”

“I believe they went to the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville.”

“That’s why Frank went there.” Sam smiled.

“You think he went after Megan?” Grant asked.

“Yes, because he loves her, But that could still work.” Sam pushed some buttons that were on his desk.

“So you’re going down there?” Grant asked.

“Of course.” An image appeared in front of Sam. “George, get the jet fueled up, were leaving for a few days.”

Sam disconnected the call and smiled.

Bobby and Christopher rode up the north side of Southfork. This was a section that neither of them had been to, but because of some stuff they had heard from the ranch hands they decided to come out.

“This is really pretty country, why haven’t we ever been out this way? Bobby asked.

“I’m not sure, I guess because the cattle was always taken to the other side.” Christopher said has he looked around.

“Hey Chris, that looks like a road over there.” Bobby and Christopher rode over to the gravel that they saw.

“Let’s follow it.” The two followed the gravel rode up for a ways.

“Hey Chris look.” Christopher looked at what Bobby was pointing at.

“Oh my, I think we just found the original Southfork.”

Chad Bradford walked through the school. He didn’t stop to say excuse me, he didn’t say hi to the schools who came up to him, he just walked on looking for John Willard. He came to a small halt when he spotted him standing next to his locker. Chad snuck up behind him and before John knew what was happening, Chad hit him. John fell to the ground and a crowd of students circled around the two.

“Come on Ewing get up!” Chad shouted. John looked around then plunged at Chad, knocking him down. The two threw punches at each other. They fought for almost five minutes before a couple teachers came and broke the two up.

Pamala Rebecca walked into the conference room where John Ross, James and Justin where sitting.

“Well now, I’m glad your all here.” Pamala sat down across from John Ross.

“What’s this all about Pam?” John Ross asked. “Yeah, so.”

“I’ve decided to take my shares now, and since you three along with Bobby, Chris, Charlie, Jennifer, and Megan own the shares it effects all of you.”

“Pam, you’ll get 5 shares, I don’t see how that will..” John Ross was cut off.

“Shut up John Ross and listen.” Pamala pulled out a folder of the brief case she had. “I’ve talked to Megan while we were in Tennessee, she gave me control over her two percent, now that only takes it to seven percent, but then something happened, I talked to Charlie, who after talking to Chris has given me temporary control of her shares, which takes me up 18 percent.”

“Pam, I still have seven more shares than you.” John Ross said.

“Excuse me John,” James cut in “What if I was to split up my shares?”

“What?”

“I’ve talked to Deborah Lynn, I’m going back to North in a couple of days, I’ll need someone to control my shares.”

“Fine, I’ll buy them from you.” John Ross said.

“Maybe I want them, Brother.” Justin said looking at John Ross.

“James, I’ll offer you what the shares are worth times 2.” John Ross was getting worried.

“Sorry Bro.” James said getting up. “The papers are already signed.” James laughed and walked out.

“What? Who he’d sign them over to?”

“Well, he signed eight over to me, and seven over to Justin, which means..” Justin cut her off.

“Which means dear brother, that She has one more than you, and with my shares, it 12 over, your out numbered.” Justin looked at Pam and smiled.

John Ross looked at the two. His wife, and his Brother, turning against him.

“You’ll pay for this.” John Ross got up and walked out.

The Starr Plane landed at the McGhee-Tyson Airport, just a few miles from UT. There was a car waiting and as soon as Sam got off the plane he got in the car and told the driver where to go.

Sam noticed that Knoxville was actually a big place, could be a good place for a few deals. The car drove through the campus and then stopped at one of the dorms.

Christopher and Bobby were walking around the remains of the old house. Chris was surprised to see the floor of the house was in good shape. Has they were looking around Chris got a call.

Chris looked at his watch. He pushed a button on the side then the small screen opened up to reveal Karens face. “Yeah?” Chris answered. “Okay, I’ll be right there.” Chris released the button and turned to Bobby. “That was Karen, John Willard has been in a fight. I need to go.”

“Okay, I think I’ll stay here and look around more.” Bobby said.

“Okay, sounds fine, I’ll talk to you later.” Chris ran to his horse and then headed toward the house.

Chris and Karen walked into the school office where John Willard was sitting with his hands folded. Chris went up to the secretary to let her know they were there. They only had to wait a minute before Principal Meyer walked out to greet them.

“Mr. & Mrs. Ewing, thanks for coming. If you’ll please come into my office.” He led the three Ewings into a large office. “Please have a seat. Now as I have already explained to John is that fighting of any kind is not allowed. But, I’ll make a small exception because he did not start the fight.”

“Mr. Meyer, I appreciate that, but John needs to take what’s coming from him.” Chris looked at John who was looking off to the distance.

“Well, Mr. Ewing, I figured you would feel that way. The minimum amount of time that a student can be suspended is two weeks. I feel that is a fair amount of time.”

“I agree, and we’ll make sure that he uses his time wisely. Thank you Mr. Meyer.” Chris and Karen stood up and shook Meyer’s hand. “If there is anything we can do for the school, please let us know.” The three Ewings walked out of the office, and walked down the hall.

Frank Starr walked out of the classroom and found Megan, she still didn’t know he was there. It had been two weeks and he was trying to figure out how to see her. He was about to go up behind her when a friend came up to him and told him about a visitor in his room.

Frankie unlocked the door and looked at his father.

“I knew it wouldn’t take you real long to find me, but it took longer than I thought.” Frankie went and sat down in a chair.

“Well, I’ve known for a while,” Sam lied “Frankie, I want to talk to you, honestly talk.”

“Okay, if you can, talk.”

“You’re my son, I love you, and if Megan is really what you want, I won’t stop it.”

“Of course not, you want us together because it gets you closer to the family.”

“Son, listen, I’m not a fan of John Ross Ewing, but I know what’s it’s like to be in love. I won’t put any pressure on you. But when you’re ready, I have a job waiting on you.” Sam got up and went over to his son. “Now why don’t you show me around this town.”

“Listen Farmer, my father hired you, and was really impressed by you, now all I’m asking is that you find one person, and she’s a Ewing, it can’t be that hard!”

“Mr. Ewing, we’re trying, the last place she was seen was in England. That was three years ago.”

“Then I guess you need to get over there and find her!” John Ross was pissed, he needed her four shares, but no body could touch them because she can’t be found.

“Okay sir, I’ll be on the next flight out.” Farmer started for the door when John Ross stopped him.

“And Farmer, if you don’t find her in one week, don’t bother coming back.” He stood there for a moment.

“I understand sir.” He walked out and shut the door behind him. __________________________________________________________________ Bobby looked all over the old Southfork. He always liked the history of the Ranch. He decided it was time to go when he heard a noise.

“Hello?” Bobby walked over to where he thought the noise came from. “Anyone there?” Bobby looked around, he didn’t realize how dark it was getting. He decided it was his mind playing tricks on him when he heard the noise again. “Okay, who’s there?” Bobby turned around and thought he saw something move, then as he went to turn around again, he was hit on the head, he fell to the ground, unconscious…..
