| I'am Alone is a small in home (cage free) cattery, located in Marystown on the Burin Peninsula in the beautiful province of Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
We raise beautiful, happy, healthy, well socialized Himalayans and Persians in both the beautiful extreme and adorable doll face type. We specialize in lynx points and tabby colors, and now produce the Himalayan kittens with mittens. Our small breeding program is capable of producing Seal, Blue, Flame, Cream, Tortie, and Bluecream points - all of which can be marked with the lynx point pattern and/or have the *and white* in the case of Himalayan Kittens with Mittens. As well they are capable of producing the CPC Persian in solid, bicolor, and tabby with or without the white in all the regular dominant and dilute colors. All of my cats and kittens are lovingly raised in my home in a clean, healthy, caring environment with lots of TLC. They are lovingly handled and socialized from the moment they are born. This along with our selective breeding of well tempered cats ensures that all of our kittens will have exceptional purrsonalities with sweet open expression, and will make wonderful additions to any new loving home. We are a Closed Cattery - the health of our cattery is most important to us, so we do not provide stud service to any queens outside of our own. We believe in rasing our felines as close to natural as possible. This means we use a combination of premium dry food and a raw meat diet. As well as Homeopathic Nosodes and Remedies in lieu of conventional vaccanations and antibiotics whenever possible. This does not mean that our cats don't receive traditional veterinarian care when needed, as well as vet testings. We guarantee our cats and kittens to be healthy and we adhere mostly to homeopathic principles, both constitutionally and prevention-wise. **SALTWATER JOYS** Just to wake up in the morning, to the quiet of the cove And to hear Aunt Bessie talking to herself. And to hear poor Uncle John, mumbling wishes to old Nell It made me feel that everything was fine. I was born down by the water, it's here I'm gonna stay I've searched for all the reasons why I should go away But I haven't got the thirst for all those modern day toys So I'll just take my chances with those saltwater joys. Following the little brook as it trickles to the shore In the autumn when the trees are flaming red Kicking leaves that fall around me Watching sunsets paint the hills That's all I'll ever need to feel at home. This island that we cling to has been handed down with pride By folks that fought to live here, taking hardships all in stride So I'll compliment her beauty, hold on to my goodbyes And I'll stay and take my chances with those saltwater joys. | Great News - OUR VERY FIRST CHAMPION!!
We are very happy to announce that *I'am Alone Saltwater Cowboy of Purrsuin'* was awarded 12 winner ribbons on April 28/07, at the Motor City Cat Club in Whitby, Ontario, and CHAMPIONED on that first day. He got Best of Breed, 2nd Best of Breed, Best Champion, 6 Best of Class, and 3 Best Color. We extend a Big Congratulations to Salty, and a Big Thank You to Sue of Purrsuin Dreams Cattery for showing Salty so beautifully to his Championship, especially considering that a 3 year old breeding male certainly isn't easy to keep in show condition.
