Kronenstadt Ski Club first came into existence in 1961, and officially adopted the name "Kronenstadt" (Crown City) in 1963. We are one of the longest established ski clubs in Southern California.
The Kronenstadt Ski Club is unique in offering social skiing opportunities in a distinctly noncompetitive atmosphere. We schedule a number of trips to Mammoth Mountain--both drive-ups and bus trips. At Mammoth Mountain, we enjoy comfortable condo accommodations and other amenities. We also keep up a tradition of variety in our non-skiing social functions.
In the past, Kronies enjoyed regular social meetings; however, the twice-a-month meeting format was abandoned in the late 1990s in favor of our current social event schedule.
If you are looking for a small ski club that is strong on camaraderie and friendship, Kronenstadt will meet your needs. Nonmembers are welcome on all trips and events. |
