The era that started it all. In 1967, Chevrolet released the Camaro. The GM answer to the Mustang. It was an instant hit with everyone. It ran as the Pace Car for the Indy 500 in both 1967 and 1969. Coming from various dealership and Chevrolet were some very special versions of the Camaro: COPO, YENKO, and others set the performance world on its ear.
