3rd Gen F-Body Page

1982 marked the introduction of the 3rd generation of GM's F-Bodies. It was also the 3rd year that a Camaro had run as a Pace Car at the Indy 500. The car was a step above the late 2nd gens in handling and sported a new appearance. The car went through many changes in it's 10 years that the generation lasted. Each year, the car got gradually getter and better until the 1992 year when the Z28 and Trans Ams with the B2L 350 were the best the General had to offer. These models were the fastest, best handling, and most squeek free of the 3rd gens.
