Maple Syrup
for those times you run out!

1 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. butter (or margarine)
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp. imitation or real maple flavoring

you can use more or less to taste

1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan
2. Heat to a boil, and continue boiling for 5 minutes
To store, I saved a used maple syrup container bought from the store
You don't have to refrigerate
