Originally the ACD got his name from Australian farmers
as a herding dog for cattle. But most of the owners nowadays
are not cattle farmers with the wide meadows of Australia.
But an ACD is a versatile dog:
we will show that he is herding nearly every animal pack.

It is amazing how quickly a not trained ACD
discovers his roots and is herding in a perfect manner

"Worldwinner 2000" CH Blucalypt Murphey shows perfect herding with a pack of sheep

If blue or red - an Australian Cattle Dog just loves to herd.
If you cannot give him that as daily work, look for a training group.

Here are only two examples out of a whole sequence of herding photos

Owner & shepherd of ". Cattlemaniac Amiable Blue Teddybear" is Peter Kreusch in Germany

The same red ACD who qietly is herding a pack of sheep
is vividly cautious when he has to bring a wild young horse to his paddock.

In a big meadow in Tcheslowakia some horses are herded by a CIDABRO bitch.

Will be continued as soon as we have clear and informative photos,
which give evidence of the great abilities of this breed
