My Favorite Television series is Xena Warrior Princess, but there's so much information on her already on the web that instead of writing about her, I'm just going to tell you to click here and you'll get all the Xena.links you could want. They're well worth your time.My recommendation is to try to find the one with the parody stories. Xena meets Star Trek, Xena Meets Monty Python, and so forth. It's hilarious
Instead, this page is devoted to the character of Salmoneus, played by Robert Trebor. And that is the official spelling of his name, I checked.
There are plenty of reasons to admire Sal, possibly the most intelligent character on either Hercules or Xena (did you notice that when he was helping Herc invent the Olympics most of the good ideas were his) He's funny(Too many scenes to name: there's the time he serenaded Xena or the time he babysat the centaur boy, or all

A picture of Robert at one of the many recent Xena conventions I've missed. Click on it for the web page I stole it from.

of Miss Amphipolis, the list could go on forever) and when he's called upon to be heroic he always comes through. He's also the only one who seems to realize that he could get killed in some of those situations but confronts his fears and goes on anyway. Plus, he's the one regular character who works for a living. Maybe that's why he's the only one who changes his clothes regularly

I listed some of his best comic scenes above. His best dramatic scenes were in The Greater Good when he discovers Xena and thinks she's dead. With just a few words he convinced me that he would grieve for her as much as Gabrielle would.
If you're interested, there's a mailing list for Sal. We're a friendly bunch, always good for a few laughs, and our hearts are in the right place, just like our hero. We're low tech right now, no more majordomo, so just email me and I'll add you to the list

Sal shows a noble side here. Offering to sacrifice himself in order to save a village in "The Greater Good"
I don't know why people think of him as comic relief. A guy calls himself "Lord Seltzer" once and no one takes him seriously ever again. It's just not fair

Along with wrist sundials and Air-Sandals, Sal also invented the Vegas Dinner show. Here he is singing the love theme from the Miss Known World pageant for our listening pleasure.
"Wrong again, Miss sunshine"
