o1 ; The story must feature Kino Makoto/Lita Kino/Sailorjupiter as the main character.

o2 ; The story must be five chapters or less. Please note that I have a busy schedule as it is, and I do not have the time to read twenty chapter fics. Also, when writing your five chapters, please keep the length reasonable. Do not give me a five chapter story that would take up about one-hundred pages. On another note, please do not make each chapter too short. Follow with Lady Jupiter's rule of making the file size at least 10k. Oh, and please separate the chapters.

o3 ; I've no restrictions on the rating anymore, meaning hentai and yuri are acceptable, but please, if it is graphic material, keep it tasteful.

o4 ; The fic must include an explanation of Mako-chan's rose earrings. I'm just curious. ;D I have my own version in a fic I'm writing, and I'd like to know yours.

o5 ; No Crossovers. I'm sorry. I know how much people love to write crossovers, but it's a little difficult to judge if the character and series are unknown to the judges. Original characters are fine, though.

So far, I (Amarice Sky) am truly the only judge, although I have others who are very willing to give me opinions and help me along and such. Good grammar, humor, symbolism, and creativity will earn points with me, just as a little hint. ^^;

Also, if anyone out there would like to submit his or her own opinion of a fic, feel free to do so. Opinions are always welcome.

P R I Z E S

Everyone who enters will automatically receive a participation award, regardless of whether he wins or not. I know it's not much, but I hate it when contests do not bother to recognize anyone besides the winners, so I'm trying to make sure everyone gets something for his efforts.

o1 ; The third place winner will receive a custom graphic award of Mako-chan, stating the fic title, author's name, and the fact that he or she won third place.

o2 ; The second place winner will receive a Mako-chan graphic award as well, also bearing the fic title, author's name, and the fact that he or she won second place. However, this one will be an animated GIF. (Um... I'm not too great at making these, but I'll give it a shot.)

o3 ; The first place winner will receive a copy of my "Rainy Day Man" MP3. This would be the actual song as played on the North American dub, not the melody heard on the various MIDI files. In addition to this, he or she will also have his choice of a plain graphic or an animated GIF, which will state the same information as the prizes of the third and second place winners.

All entries are to be completed and sent in TXT or HTML format as attachments to me at ainoassassin@hotmail.com, and there is no set finishing date as of yet. If in TXT format, please follow Lady Jupiter's rule of wordwrapping it to only 73 characters per line. I will not take it if this isn't done. HTML, however, needs no formatting. In the email, please include the fic title/chapter, the rating, a summary (Make it a decent summary. None of this, "My fic is about when Mako-chan was a princess.". >.> Give me a good overview.), your alias, email (I will withhold it if you want.), and your website URL (If you have one.).

A beautifully written fic focused on Kino Makoto in the future of Crystal Tokyo and her feelings regarding what it has become. (Forgive me, I accidentally deleted your initial email and forgot to write down your address. If you could please email me? ^_^)
