These are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Canterbury horticultural Centre, South Hagley Park (entrance off Riccarton Ave), starting promptly at 7:45 pm.
Doors open at 7:30. 
Gold coin donation at the door to cover supper and hall hire.

AN OVERLAND JOURNEY THROUGH CENTRAL ASIA

Maureen Thompson will cover little-visited places after her trip earlier this year, including Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan (Jan and Stan)

Dux de Lux and/or The Court Theatre Ghost Walk

Dare to accompany the infamous Dr Aloysius Mort on a nocturnal journey into the hidden corners and shadows of Christchurch’s gothic Arts Centre, where he will regale you with dark stories of ghostly happenings and unfortunate events. Those of a nervous disposition are advised to attend with a close friend.

The ghost tour departs at 8.01pm from the Arts Centre clock tower on Worcester Boulevard

If you would like to meet first for a stiff drink to settle your nerves (or coffee, snack, meal) come to the Dux de Lux any time after 6.45pm

Tickets: $20 from The Court Theatre or phone 963 0870 and use your credit card. Say that you are with the PTC group.

You can also get tickets from the i-SITE Visitor Centre, Old Central PO, Cathedral Square, between 8:30am and 6 pm
