Rei Ayanami, The 1st Child
Rei Ayanami is the pilot of EVA-00 of NERV and possesses the most mysterious life out
of the whole Neon Genesis Evangelion universe. Her mother and father is unknown and
we never found out. Rei is the "First Child" and worked with NERV for almost her whole
life for all we know. Rei has the toughest time synchronizing with her EVA. As a result,
she was mentally injured a little bit.Rei is the weakest of the pilots because of her
synchronization rate. Rei has been with NERV ever since its early stages, called
Project-E.Rei is an introvert and doesn't have friends other then Shinji, Asuka, Rei
and Gendou. She doesn't participate at all in class, and doesn't talk to people. All
she does is look out the window all the time. Rei, lives in a run down appartment in
Tokyo-3 alone.
