For those who are curious, our show at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park was cancelled due to the fact that the promoter wanted to put us on stage at 1:00 AM, so that the so-called "headliner" would be able to play in front of OUR crowd, making you people hang out all night drinking and waiting for DRIFTER. Well, we certainly wouldn't want to be hanging around Asbury Park at 3:00 AM, and we know you don't either, so the decision to cancel was a no-brainer. Consequently, "Mighty" Joe will be making his DRIFTER debut sometime early in 2001.
