SUM41 "Does This Look Infected?"

To boldly go where no pop-punk band has gone before. This is the new, definitive, next generation of Sum41 that we’ve all been hoping for. Pop-punk was cool… For about a week. Punk music is dead (In sub-mainstream to mainstream culture anyways). Wearing skateboard clothing and “Punk” music just doesn’t cut it. Being punk is an attitude, which most pop-punk bands simply can’t express. However, Sum41 has certainly taken leaps and bounds to put this ideology back on the agenda. With the speed and fury of “The Hell Song” and the dead accurate view on “The War On Terror” of “Still Waiting”, Sum41 have truly revived a feeling of rebellion I’ve nearly forgotten about. On a negative note, some songs are rappy and the kind of crap I’d expect to hear on TRL. Punk and rap just don’t mix. Overall: A very good start.
