Los Rabanes "Money Pa'Que"

LOS RABANES (The great Panamanian band that fused rock, punk, and rap with traditional Latin beats from such genres as ska, salsa, merengue, bachata, and Mexicano sounds into a triumphant album that glorifies Hispanic culture here and abroad.) has done it again with the release of Money Pa’Que.

LOS RABANES may be considered inappropriate by some, as the lyrics are provocative, sexual, and contain coarse language (en Español). The band does on the other hand promote cultural pride, and addresses Latin people living in the united states and abroad. Also, some lyrics (and songs) are in English and should appeal to the Gringos as well.

Song excerpt from “Te Gusto”: “Mujer, Sí puedes tú con dios hablar”. Translation: “Women, If I could talk to God.” As you can see, this song is more on the serious side. “Preguntale Si yo alguna vez, Te dejado de adorar”.

OVERALL: Nothing less than you’d expect from the Panamanian super group.
