VIDEO GAME REVIEWS -- NINETENDO GAME CUBE
Resident Evil Rebirth

by Chris Shell

In 1996 Capcom released a genre-dying survival horror thriller we all know as Resident Evil. The game was a first of its kind and truly scared the crap out of its players. Since then, Capcom as added 3 installments to the series as well as a few spinoff titles. Capcom shocked the gaming industry when they announced that all mainstream.

Resident Evil games will be exclusive to the Nintendo Gamecube. So Capcom thought, what better way to introduce the series to a new audience to have them crawl before they walk? Resident Evil has been given life again on the Nintendo Gamecube, and my goodness does it look better than ever.

First off the graphics for this game is incredible. You WILL be in awe when you lay your eyes on this game. The Mansion has also been revamped a little, sporting a slighty different layout. Every nook and cranny of this game has been revamped to look much better.

The gameplay has also improved. You can now carry Defense-Items such as daggers, battery packs, and flash grenade which you can use on enemies when they try to attack you. The all enemies have been revamped also, and they are scarier than ever. You can no longer rest safely just by shooting a zombie down. You must either burn them, or incinerate them, or else they WILL come back later in the game as "Super Zombies" that are officially known as Crimson Heads. These babies do much more damage to you and can even run!

Overall, whether you're new the Resident Evil series or are a Resident Evil veteran, Resident Evil is a great add to your collect. If if you have experienced it before on the playstation, the Resident Evil Remake is sure to scare you

Be afraid....Be VERY afraid.....
