Another Day Without You
Another day has passed and you weren't here with me.
Things we don't understand are sometimes meant to be.
I don't know if I'll ever understand why God chose to take you away.
I just pray that He gives me strength to make it through another day.
You both touched so many lives your short time here on earth.
I just hope I touch as many, no matter what it's worth.
Everyone will remember how you made them smile.
How you made them forget their problems, if only for a while.
So many people miss you, I'm not the only one.
You both were gifts from heaven, my precious daughter and son.
I know your watching over me like I always tried to do for you.
So don't worry about your mommy, because I'm feeling blue.
I'll be happy again someday, just you wait and see.
I was always my happiest when you both were with me
Jesus has a plan for me, this I surely know.
I have to complete things here, before I walk the streets of gold.
Just keep this in your hearts that I'm never far away.
As soon as I'm finished here on earth, we'll have eternity to play.
But until that time comes - when we can be together again,
Just know that mommy loves you two, and that there is no end....
