TEACHER SELECTION LETTER FOR NEXT YEAR'S REQUEST .
This web site was created in an effort to reach District 205 families and community members. It is critically important that we regain influence regarding the education of our children. In many cases, today's economy dictates the need for both parents to work. Busy after school schedules and limited evening hours make it difficult to stay abreast of educational trends. When my bright, confident child began experiencing difficulty in first grade, I made it my mission to find out why. That mission has now spanned seven years. A Parent's Voice for Academic Achievement will post much of what I have learned and experienced over these seven years as I continue to pursue academic achievement for my children and the children of District 205. The decisions made by D205 impact our entire community. Whether you have children in our public school system or not, even if you have no children in school, D205 has a direct impact on the quality of life here in Elmhurst, even if you only associate that impact with property values.
