Roun Rimudo. Hm... where to start? =3 Rimudo's a complex character; because of his background, he's developed an indifferent, "I-don't-care-for-anything" personality. This is only on the outside, however. Inside, though he may be incredibly dense, Rimudo also has the tendency to do what he thinks his right. Unfortunately, Rimudo's not always sure what the "right thing" is! He's terribly romantic, awesomely deadly, and skilled in martial arts and deceit. His goal in life is to kill his father-- and though that may sound a bit psycho, if you know Roun Temudan, you'll definitely think otherwise!

General History

"When the country is on the brink of destruction, a girl from another world will throw open the door between her world and ours. She will be the priestess of our country's guardian god; she will gather the seven sichiseishi born from stars to protect her and summon the god to save our country."

In the Universe of the Four Gods, this prophecy exists throughout the four main countries of Hokkan, Sairou, Konan, and Kutou. Each country believes that a girl will cross between worlds and summon their god: Genbu, the black tortoise or warrior for northern Hokkan; Byakko, the white tiger for western Sairou; Suzaku, the red bird for southern Konan; and Seiryuu, the blue dragon for eastern Kutou. Each god holds under him seven star contellations that mark seven chosen men and women as sichiseishi (celestial warriors) chosen to protect the priestess when she comes. The sichiseishi is given a special power that is used to protect her.

The seven contellations under Genbu are Tomite, Uruki, Namame, Hatsui, Hikitsu, Inami, and Urumiya. Rimudo was marked as Uruki, the constellation with the character for "woman." Though he has the ability to control wind, thanks to his symbol, he must transform into a woman to do so! His symbol is only visible as a woman; the character appears in the middle of his her chest.

Personal History

"When the Genbu no Miko throws open the door between her world and ours, your son will certainly kill you."

This is yet another prophecy made, this time told to Roun Temudan on the day of his son's birth. Temudan was the prince of Hokkan, due to be king until he contracted a strange curse or disease: his limbs slowly turn to lead, bit by bit (he was supposed to die by the age of 20, which is why his younger brother received the throne; but Temudan didn't die, so he waits as first in line to the throne). Fearing for his life, Temudan ordered baby Rimudo's death. Rimudo's mother, however, did not want her son to die, and ran away. She gave her son to a man whose family had served hers for generations, telling him to take Rimudo and run. The man, Tauru; and his twelve-year-old son, Soruen, obeyed.

Tauru raised Rimudo as would befit a son of the royal family of Hokkan. Rimudo grew to love Tauru and Soruen so much that he thought of them as his real father and brother. However, that happiness was not destined to last long.

When Rimudo was nine, his father caught wind of his whereabouts. Temudan sent assassins after his son. Tauru was killed protecting Rimudo; as Rimudo sobbed with grief and fury, the character for "woman" appeared on his chest, and he slashed the attackers to pieces with the use of wind. Rimudo demanded of Soruen why all that had happened had happened. Soruen told him everything, and Rimudo would never again be the happy, cheerful child he had once been.

Rimudo blames himself for Tauru's death. His sole goal in life became killing his father, with the help of his foster brother/servant, Soruen. When Rimudo was older, he attacked the palace but failed; a bounty was placed on his head, and he became known as "Fuzaanki Rimudo," or the "Demon Who Cuts with Wind Rimudo." Before he met the priestess, revenge was all Rimudo cared about; he even denies his other fate as a sichiseishi and vows never to use the name "Uruki" in his life. However, since meeting the priestess, Rimudo's loyalties have become divided. Does he stay undercover in the Kutou army in an attempt to reveal his father's conspiracies with the rival country, or does he join the girl he is to fall in love with and has been destined for since before he was born...?
