Trimming

Angling your board across the wave is known as trimming. If you are angling right, your right arm should be places on your inside rail while your left hand should be on your outside rail, about midway down the board.

Once you are trimming, your main aim is to pick up speed so you can keep up with the wave and make it to the next section. Try using your fins to help directs your path. The more speed you have, the easier it is to turn your board
