Are Children a curse or a blessing ? Everyone will SAY that children are a great blessing - then do everything in their power to make sure they don't have a child!  Moderns take hormone pills that interrupt their bodily cycles, implant drugs under their skin, and have surgery to destroy their reproductive tracts.  Deeds show that our words are insincere.  We can't imagine being "stuck" with children. Godly people would feel otherwise: Children are a gift from the LORD; babies are a reward.  Children who are born to a young man are like arrows in the hand of a warrior.  Happy is the man who has his bag full of arrows.  They will not be defeated... Psalm 127:3-5 Who wants LESS arrows for a battle?  Only fools.

Happy are those who respect the LORD and obey him.  ...Your wife will give you many children, like a vine that produces less fruit.  Your children will bring you much good, like olive branches that produce many olives.
