the Armed CONVENTICLE:  P A T R I A R C H Y
back to the Armed CONVENTICLE
Feminism is a satanic doctrine.  With its cohorts "sexual freedom" and government paternalism, it has much damaged our society.  Biblical Christians should oppose feminism in all its ugly forms.

The Scriptures affirm that fathers are the heads of their families, commanded by God to provide for, to nurture and to love their wives and children.  (Ephesians 5:25-33, 1 Timothy 5:8)

Wives should obey their husbands and be their helpers.
The most important task known to mankind (with the possible exception of preaching the gospel) falls on the Christian wife: home-making and child-rearing.  (Ephesians 5:22-24, Titus 2:4&5)  Children should obey the godly advice and instruction of both parents.  (Proverb 6:20, Ephesians 6:1-3)

Only men should vote in church meetings, pray publicly, or hold office as ministers, lay governors or deacons.  (Acts 6:3, 1 Tim 2:12)

Women, by contrast, should learn in silence with their heads covered as a sign of submission.  (1 Corinthians 11:1-16, 14:34)  They should look to their husbands for discipleship. (1 Corinthians 14:35)

The children of believers are members of God's covenant people, and should not be left out of public worship.  (Deuteronomy 31:12, Matthew 19:14)

Patriarchy is a pattern for civil society as well as the church, and women do not belong in political office or the voting booth.  (Isaiah 3:1-12)

Home-schooling is the Scriptural way to instruct Christian children.  (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)

Women should prefer marriage and motherhood, if at all possible, to careers in the workplace - especially those occupations involving leadership.  (Isaiah 3:12, 1 Timothy 5:11-15)

God hates and condemns abortion, "homosexuality" and willful barrenness as sins against His natural order and revealed law.  (Exodus 20:13, Leviticus 18:22, Genesis 38:8-10, Psalm 127:3-5)

True Christians must stop handing their children over to be indoctrinated by unbelievers in daycare centers and humanistic government schools.  (Exodus 10:8-10)

Patriarchy does not extend past the second generation, for the nuclear or neo-local family is God's creation ordinance.  (Genesis 2:23&24)

Christians are obligated to care for their own elderly, not abandoning them to nursing homes or the public relief.  (Mark 7:9-13, 1 Timothy 5:4,8)

Christian men should be loving leaders, not tyrants.  Abuse and neglect are not Christian Patriarchy.  (1 Peter 3:7)

The so-called complimentarian movement is less than Scriptural patriarchy.
...it is more than a monster in nature that a woman shall reign and have empire above man. And yet with us all there is such silence as if God therewith  were nothing offended. - John Knox
God the childless woman takes,
And a joyful mother makes;
Keeping house she finds reward.
Praise Jehovah, praise the Lord!
Psalm 113:9
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;  Our daughters as pillars, Sculptured in palace style.

- Psalm 144:12
