Rick Malm, an example overhead view, shot adjustment example,
and the winners at a North American Championship, :
Once you put the Artistic Pool Manual CD in your CD-ROM drive you are ready to go. No programs to install. Just flip through the CD book to see live video clips, eye views and overhead views of each shot along with detailed instructions. The CD book introduction contains details on pool table testing as well as information on shaft squirt measurement. You will see how to execute the professional level challenge shots. These shots are used for the World Artistic Pool Finals, as well as, all of the Continental Qualifiers. The book covers Masse shots, Jump shots, Trick shots, Prop shots, Draw, Follow, Stroke, Banks and Kicks. The CD contains video clips and still images of Tom "Dr. Cue" Rossman and the author, Rick Malm, in action. The CD also contains still photos of other world famous artistic players like Mike Massey and Charles Darling.
This FlipAlbum® technology is a whole new way of organizing, viewing, and sharing digital images and multimedia files to teach subjects that are very visual like Artistic Pool. Now you can spend practice time and feel productive since you can see how to hit the shots instead of just seeing an overview diagram. You will also get hints on corrections to make on each shot if you are missing the target. The base FlipAlbum® viewer program only runs on PCs and has been tested on Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® NT, Windows® 2000, Windows® MP, and Windows® XP. To run FlipAlbum® on MACs you will need a PC emulation application like the one offered from Connectix.
