Wakayama was
called "Kishu" till 150 years ago.
A prototype Wakayama-city was built by Tokugawa.
Yorinobu in 1619, who is first governor during the Edo period.
The Tokugawa family was ruled in all Japan during 300years.
Keyaki ( zelkova tree ) Rd. Zelkova trees are planted
in the both sides and center of a road. If you progress west
along this road, you will go to Wakayama Castle.
