**Basic Chat Commands**
/ignore [theirnick]	To stop seeing messages from an annoying chatter. (Type the command again to undo it.)
/me [action]	Express an action you are doing. example: /me laughs hysterically = Diane laughs hysterically
/msg [theirnick your message]	Send a private message to someone.
/nick [newnick]	Change your nickname.
/ping [theirnick]	Check delay time of messages you send to another chatter.
/wake [theirnick]	To get someone's attention. (Sends a message & a sound to their computer.)

**Channel Ops commands (If you have the @ in front of your name this is for you!)**
/kick [theirnick]	Boot an annoying chatter from the channel.
/op [theirnick]	Give channel ops status to someone else. (Like before you leave!)
/topic [topic]	To add or change scrolling topic bar on top of the chat screen.
