I have decided to photograph a clutch of Gouldians, from the days they hatched until fledging. Hopefully they would make it.... these guys were born on the 24th on November 2002.

Still nothing to figure out about their color, I am sure though that I have a yellow bird amongst them and a dilute.

Day7: One week old....... They sure have grown in size, and the nest is starting to get messy
Day9: Two of the birds have light wings, which means I might have two yellows and not one. Usually a dark head and light wings are the indication of a white chest dilute, but it is a bit soon to be sure of that.

Day15: This is the last picture where we can see four babies.... Sadly, the weaker baby died on the morning of the 16th day. This baby (a classic green) has not developed properly, and stayed smaller than his siblings. The difference in size is clearly noticeable in the picture of Day 15, as he is the one on the left.

Day17: Ok, here is the remaining trio at day 17. Already I know I have a white chest female, and a white chest dilute male alongside a green classic unsexed chick....
Day 19: This is last picture I will take of the babies, before they fledge. The parents have been very tolerant towards me so far, but I won't push my luck any further, especially in this delicate time of fledging......
