The VF Valiant
The VF introduced in 1969 was quite a big step with new looks and a new engine... The VF got a big facelift, new front and rear body stlyle now came in 4 door sedan (standard, regal, pacer, VIP), 4 door S/W (standard, Regal), 2 door ute (utility) or a 2 door hardtop (standard, regal) now with the extra power of the 318 V8 engine which replaced the smaller 273 V8, again power increacements with the 6 cylinder HEMI engines.

New Model: Pacer, the pacer was meant to be a cheap, high performance car based on the 4 door sedan. It Had special options such as pacer striping, special paint themes - Little Hood Riding Red, Thar she Blue and Blondi Bleach etc. High compression version of engines ( the 225 Pacer had a 9.2:1 compression ratio ). Suspension was lowerd by around ½".
