Lost/Stoen Basenji
If you have lost a Basenji or it was Stolen recently , then please consider completing the following steps:

1. Send us an email note to B.E.A.R.. (click on link) and I can forward it to several appropriate Basenji lists. Please include a description of the Basenji (name, color, sex identifying marks etc) and where it was lost or stolen. A picture is helpful
   
2. Please contact local veterinarians and animal shelters in your area and where the Basenji was lost or stolen. You can get a good listing by searching a web search engines "yellow pages" and select the appropriate category for animal hospital/clinic. If you need any help on doing this , then pleas email me at B.E.A.R.. (click on link). A dog maybe microshipped and the vet or shelters may have a scanner that can tell you who the owner is and how to contact them. You should also look for a tattoo on the Basenji as well.

How to find a vet or shelter in the area that the Basenji was lost or stolen or found

• Go to a search engine (example: www.Yahoo.com)
• Select the Yellow Pages (you may need to select a location to help narrow down the area you are searching on)
