Tarot Boxes
This is a tarot box done in needlepoint on plastic canvas and accented with beads and sequins.  I usually do not use sequins in my projects, but these just looked so good on here...
This particular. box was made for the Goddess Cards by Susan Eleanor Boulet, so it is not the size for a "normal" deck.
This was done in a dark purple and teal yarn, silver star sequins, matte black delica beads on the stars and features a silver start button as the closure.  The closure works by two elastic loops on the front corners that secure over the star button on the fron.
I am working on perfecting a new closure for the boxes.

The pictures do not do it justice for color.

First picture is the front of the box, second is the view with the sides, and the third picture is of the front and the closure, and the last picture is a detail of the goddess image and the star sequins and black matte beads.
Here is another tarot box sized for normal tarot decks/cards.  This one is done in black and a blue/teal chenille type of yarn.
The lid is a seperate piece and fits snugly over the top....the box itself is a perfect fit for the tarot cards so there is not alot of room for them to jumble and jiggle around.
