2007

To finish the year Harriet was Intermediate of Group at East Coast Ladies.

Now looking forward to a lazy (?) summer just bringing up these gorgeous puppies. What a fantastic two years it has been since I arrived in the Manawatu. Between them Jasper, Harriet and Scuba have been awarded

EIGHTY TWO CHALLENGE CERTIFICATES.

Scuba and Sassafras both have 2007 Whippet Club Best in Show awards, to add to the Hound Club Best in Show Scuba received in December 2006; Jasper has a Whippet Club Challenge and Reserve Challenge; Harriet has a Hound Show Reserve in Show, Whippet Club Reserve in Show and Reserve Best in Show at the NZ National Dog Show.

I am looking forward once again to a good year in 2008 with the new babies, watch for their debut.

Updated November 25: Scuba and Lennox's puppies arrived yesterday, Saturday, she had eight in four hours and is a fabulous mum. Four boys and four girls - black brindle, red brindle, and fawn, all with white markings. Photos on Scuba's page.

2007: We continue our winning ways!

Harriet heads into her break from showing on a high note: Junior of Group on February 11 at Horowhenua under Gwen Hovey (Qld). Scuba steps into her shoes with Junior of Group at Wanganui under Jan Edwards (Qld) on March 17, followed by RESERVE BEST OF GROUP and Open of Group on March 31 at Wairoa (her sister Annie - Ronndal Elven Song - was Best of Group) under Hound Specialist John Green (NZ). All all-breeds championship shows!!!

Sassy turned two years old on November 1, 2004,

and quickly gained THREE BEST INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP awards,

April 3: Sassy wins her NINTH best Junior of Group! Judge Carolyn Ryan, Queensland.

This beautiful young whippet has amassed an enviable record in the 12 weeks she has been with me: from 12 all-breed championship shows, she has 9 challenge certificates, six times Junior of Group, a BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW, a Best in Group, and two Reserve Best in Group. Her wins have included TWO TIMES Junior of Group (both with Best of Breed) from WHIPPET BREEDERS (Marilyn Hoy, Moonwind, and Bev Daines, Dachlah).
