1 Kings 13:34 [niv]  Even after this Jeroboam did not change his evil ways, but once more *appointed* priests for the high places from all sorts of people. Anyone who wanted to become a priest he *consecrated* for the high places.  This was the sin of the house of Jeroboam that led to its downfall and to its destruction from the face of the earth.

THE SIN OF JEROBOAM

When we place ourselves, or others,  into the positions of service that God has clearly said in His Word that *He* will provide, have we not entered into this same Sin of Jeroboam?

When one man appoints another to serve as an "apostle.. an evangelist, a prophet, a pastor/teacher" has he not acted the same as Jeroboam?

God alone provides these leadership positions.[Eph 4:11]  The Word teaches us that the leaders are to appoint deacons and overseers of the body.. but God gives the Church men filled with these giftings... and when we place others into these positions, the church suffers.  When men are placed into the pastor position.. and they are not gifted by God to be a pastor... we (the body) suffer.  When men place another man into the position of an evangelist.. and he is not gifted to be an evangelist.. the body suffers.

The body is suffering and continues to suffer because we allowed many to enter *the ministry* as if it were a business..    Believing that teaching and training would make us *pastors/teachers* etc... rather than God empowering, and gifting His chosen instruments with these callings... instead, we have allowed men (often parents) to appoint their own children to the gift callings of ministry.. just as Jeroboam did.

Please consider this before you encourage your sons to enter the ministry... many are hurting in the church because the leadership does not have the gift to pastor.. or evangelize.. or speak as a true prophet.. or be the apostle that they claim to be. Let God raise up His
Leadership!  It will be obvious when God does the *appointing*.

THE WARRIOR PRIEST

My heart is twined within his own
as he takes these Steps of Faith alone
It seems so hard to find Your Way
yet...there it is, as clear as day!

Your Word:
Already Spoken....is done!
Your Word:
Already Spoken....has won!
The victory's Yours, won on the Cross
Yet our Warrior Priest is also bearing the cost

Right here in front of *All The World*
He lives his faith  --  He trusts his Lord
Yes, *Great Joy* will come upon him soon!
Turn Your face, O Lord, see what he's done
Please pour Your blessings down
Flood the soul of this: Your Warrior Son

Our Warrior Priest, I love most dearly
I lift him up, Lord, please see him clearly
He lives his faith right here in front....
He takes the chance and lets all the world watch

But You O Lord, also love him... dearly
You see his heart, his truth, his honesty
You've filled him so, with Your Great Spirit
You test him, yes, but You also know his limits

He's just a man --  a mortal man
still filled inside with all his hells and his damns
Yet SUCH A HEART for YOU -  My Lord
Yet SUCH A HEART - to be used for Your Good

Please Lord, I beg for Your Great Mercy---
Please give our Warrior, Your Great Victory,
Let his ravaged body enter that realm....
Where his Faith connects to You, His Lord.

Let this Victory be shown on the Prince's Air
Where All The World can see and hear
As You touch our Doc - our Warrior Prince
Our Pastor..... Your domata.... yet *our Gift*

As You heal his ravaged mortal frame
our Praises & Thanksgiving to You will raise
and Faith will once again be taught:
through this painfully visible life
of Your dearly beloved Warrior:

THIS IS MY BODY -- BROKEN FOR YOU

"This is my body, broken for you! Take it and eat. I speak now of the Broken.. Humbled... and Contrite Hearts --- These I offer up as a 'Thanksgiving Offering' unto My Father. These who have filled up in their bodies the afflictions left unto them, for the sake of the church. These from all generations whom it has been said, 'the world was not worthy of them'.  But for Love, they choose to suffer, learning obedience even as a son, that they might bear on their bodies the stigmata of Christ -- Bond Slaves of Christ. These are my broken body, broken for you; For these, I give thanks and share them now with the Church. Take these and eat.

Take these and eat and you shall know My Heart. For I have given unto My brokenhearted ones: My Heart. A heart that breaks easily -- A heart made vulnerable to the callousness of man -- A heart that flows in the Rhythm of Heaven.  A Heart that weeps over the distortion of My Name.

For these, I give thanks and I break them for the feeding of the multitudes. I break these Love-Gifts unto the Church, and I shall multiply them for the feeding of the hungry -- for all those I Love.

Will you partake of this supper with Me dear Church? Will you receive My broken body -- whose very essence has been transformed into Love? Will you receive these gentle, humble, and brokenhearted ones, as My body, broken for you?"

"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to His
Disciples, saying, "Take and Eat, this is My body". (Matt 26:26)

"Every high priest is appointed to offer both Gifts and Sacrifices.. and so it was necessary for this One also to have something to offer." (Heb 8:1)

May we be some of those the Son can offer as Gifts unto the Church... Love-gifts to the Church and to the Father.... those willing to be broken bread and poured out wine. No greater Love is there than a man be willing to lay down his life for another. Let us become an 'outward focused church' that cares more about the lives all around us, than our own lives. For God so Loved the world.. that HE GAVE... May HE continue to GIVE through our yielded and broken
hearts... we are His Body.

In the unfolding revelation of His Divine Love,
