Many of us were inspired to visit “Scotland – The Wilderness on Your Doorstep” as a result of Ian Rowlands talk and wonderful pictures. |

Steve Carter showed us his slides of wildlife and scenery in “A Portugese village and a colony” before we held our AGM.

Brian Barton and Clive Banks took us to southern India. They had given us a wonderful sound/vision talk two years earlier on the Natural History of Grand Union Canal nr Aylesbury and they didn’t disappoint with this new double-act. |

“Operation Osprey” with Ralph and Brenda Todd, was an update of a talk given 26 years ago!! Having taken us subsequently to Kenya, Iceland and the Pyrenees, the Falklands, the Galapagos and wintering in Africa, our old friends returned to give us a volunteer's-eye view of the history and developing story of the reintroduction of Ospreys to the British Isles. |
