I currently play in a classic rock group called Whatever. I play in jazz jams whenever
I can as well since my most recent jazz project, the Blackburn group has come to an end.
I also like to play classical pieces, mostly Bach, which I primarily use my Pedulla for.
I rarely use my Kaman now. However, the song below uses 3 of my basses, my effects units,
and a simple keyboard drum patch. This piece, Heavy Metal, is on the 4th Bottom Line
compilation, The Bassment Chronicles (Click on song title to hear/download mp3 version).
This is available through Edwin Hurwitz, who produces the Bottom Line compilations.
My music is also available on garageband.com under blackshole and Robert Black.
I also have a self produced CD, titled The Robert Black Collection, which can be
obtained from me via contacting me by email at the address below. Other songs
from this CD are Octavius, and Dwarf, both of which feature bass and PC, as
opposed to all bass (with cheap drum machine) as in Heavy Metal (above).
