The game of lacrosse is the oldest team sport in North America. The game has origins in Native American legends and folklore. The various tribes which own the glorious history are: the nations of the Iroquois Confederacy, the Creek, Cherokee, Choctaw, Huron and many others. The Blue Pony Lacrosse programs' mission is to spread the game of lacrosse amongst other Indian Nations and throughout North America with the intent of keeping the history of the sport intact. It is not the foremost intent to promote the current competitive aspect of sport as it exists today. We hope to instill artistic and cultural elements in the initial exposure to this great sport.
