Welcome to the
NO MERCY HILLS COMMUNITY WATCH
HOME PAGE
We are not a neighborhood watch group. We are a united group of homeowners trying to improve our neighborhoods, and way of life here in the City of Santa Clarita. We have no affiliation with the Neighborhood Watch Program, and we are not run or organized by the Sheriff Department. This Community Watch is made up of smaller, traditional Neighborhood Watch groups, with local Block Captains having a narrower focus, yet keeping us all informed at the same time.
Our of our goals is to keep criminals out of our community with an increase of Sheriff Patrols, a new Community Camera Surveillance System, and community awareness of crimes through internet communication. We want criminals to know this isn't the place to do business.
We show NO MERCY. You do the crime, you will do the
time, or pay the fine.
Don't mess with us!
Curfew laws are enforced
with fines and arrests. Know where your teens are after 10PM.
Stay out of Canyon Country park after 10PM. This could
save you a $411.00 fine! Make sure your teens know the Santa Clarita
Curfew
Law .
Speed laws are enforced with RADAR by our Sheriff Dept. To cure this problem, we have them in our neighborhood just looking for speeders! Don't get a SPEEDING TICKET! Train yourself, and your teen drivers to Use Second Gear on steep hills, drive at 25 MPH on every street in our community, especially steep streets like Canvas / Linda Vista / Winterdale. Do not tailgate! Leave plenty of space between cars. Homeowners may be trying to pull out of their driveways. Always watch for children.
Santa Clarita Sheriff Station 661-255-1121 for
Emergency and Non Emergency when using your Cell Phone. This number works
just fine for Emergency situations.
Do not use a cell phone to call 911 for the Sheriff
Dept !
In our area, 911 on your cell phone will connect you
with the CHP in Sacramento, and not the local Sheriff Dept!
911 only works on your home to connect you to the Sheriff
Dept. When using
your home phone, use 911 for Emergency only. After you call the Sheriff
Station, keep track of the time. If you do not get a response from
the Sheriff Dept in a reasonable amount of time, call again, and ask for
the Watch Commander.
