Again I am updating for the sake of *Blaze* who probably no longer goes by that name, as she was recently talking of changing it.
Well, since the last time I've updated, we've gained and lost a drummer, lost, gained, and then lost again a second guitarist. We are now considering having me play background guitar as well as sing. Which is easier, I think, then having five different people trying to play strange music.
Oh, yes. We now have a new bassist-Chelsea- and she kicks ass.
I swear, she can play the bass.
On music: I've COMPLETELY finished life of a superhero, but I haven't written it in tabs yet. *haha* my favorite chore.
I'm also working on another song, 'Coup de Grace', and the instrumental parts are almost completely tabulated at this point (is tabulated a word?) but the voice part isn't completely finalized yet.
And Jenny's working on the title song 'Doubtful of death' which sound really cool in a very heavy metal way. bass and voice will soon be added. :)
and we're also planning on doing a cover of Fallout Boy's 'Sugar we're going Down', which, surprisingly, I LOVE. haha.
and of course some of the Evanescance. yeah.

Not much to say. We had a 'band meeting' thursday.
Ooooh, yes. we have a bassist now. His real name is Drake...forgive me, but I've forgotten his band name.
Anyway, he is very good, and I feel rather stupid handing him our simple bass-lines.
but give me a break.
and I am this close *squeezes fingers together* to being completely done with Life of a superhero. it has only take a year. *rolls eyes*
ooooooohhhhhh. we HAVE A DRUMMER NOW.

Wolfie here. wow, it's been a long time. I have finished writing two songs, Life if a Superhero, and another currently nameless one, but every time we have a band meeting, everyone just wants to goof off. oh, well. what can you do? Nichts. *sigh*

The gig didn't fall through because we have been unable to have band meetings for the last two weeks because of algebra. which has no purpose by the way. but now that my grades are up, We can have a meeting! yay!
When we finally get a song done, which might be soon, considering I actually wrote guitar for 'Life of a Superhero' today, and it actually sounds GOOD, we will have to record it to myspace.com. that site is so cool! and we changed the name of out band from 'Broken Fire' to 'Holy Lies.' not my first choice, but, hey. whatever works. We don't feel like making a whole new site, so I guess we'll have to tie in 'Broken Fire' somehow. ok. tchuss.
Hell, it's *GASP* Naz here. Havent heard from me in a while have ya? Heh.
Well, not much has happened as usual. We've lost and GAINED our basist and drummer, now it's Kat and Dez... They need names... heh..
We might have a backround singer I guess, we have to discuss it... Caitlyn.
Uhmmm... We might have a gig soon... If we memorize a song within 23 days of this day now. So yeah, that's kick ass. I think we're re-making "Krymptonite" (sp?) by that one... band... O_O

Not much to update about. I'm at Blaze's house, we're working on 'Life of a Superhero' She says she's made some cool chords for it, or so I've been told; I haven't exactly heard it yet..............soon, lieblings. like the thing I did with the box, so it's a textarea now? I'm working on a css layout for the site, but until then, this'll do. I just don't want to have to update every page all the time. ok, I'm going now........
Hello, again. It's Wolf. Not much happening. I finished the chords for the verses on life of a superhero, but I think they may need to be tweaked a little bit, So I gave them to Naz. I only got them done because Mum bought me a chord book for Christmas, and yeah. Is that cheating? I hope not.
There's no chance for a band meeting this week, because Naz is grounded, and my parents work the rest of the week, unless we wanna have it at someone elses house..*_* any takers? I'll just add some chords to the chorus and we'll be done with 'Moon guitar'. I've decided to call the guitar parts 'Moon' and 'sun' because Naz and Blaze have kind of been fighting over what guitar parts they're playing. yeah. Blaze wants to play the keyboard for Superhero, so I think I might atempt to play some guitar in that one. just the easy stuff. I don't know if I'm ambidextrious enough to sing and play the guitar at the same time. *looks around sheepishly*. Yeah. It looks like the next time we'll have a meeting is next week.
And as much as I hate 'that stupid shithead'- Eric, and for my own personal reasons, not because of Naz- I think we might need the drums. but after certain recent events, I'm not sure if that's possible. If we raise some money, we might buy this really cheap set at Wal-Mart. lol

Wolf here, and ok Naz, I won't dlete anything, but sooner or later we'll need another page to store old updates............ We got pretty far on 'life of a superhero' last time, but we still need to add chords for the parts woth words.

Well, not much to say. The band seems like it has died since no one wants to have a meeting anymore. Wolf is finishing the song herself, which really sucks cause I wanted to help her. *shrugs*
We've recently recruited a bassist. No stage name yet but her name is Bing, actually her name is Kristina, but everyone calls her Bing :)

Well, after a lot of thought, I have decided I'm going to finish the song 'Life of a Superhero' myself, because we're not really getting anywhere in band practice, although I'm open to suggestions from anyone, and I'll probabably need help with the drum parts. I think I could figure out bass, but obviously, I don't have one. my mother seriously said she's buying me one, possibly for Christmas, but I don't want to play it in the band. I suppose if we continue to have problems, I could, but I don't really want to. Maybe on certain songs, possibly, but, you know, we were planning on doing that anyway. ;). LOL better go work on the song, than. I think I'll have a band meeting on Monday, because my schedule is so packed, and we don't have anything to work on yet, except the intro, but that's pretty basic.
