Welcome to the web site of the Brooklyn Greens. The Brooklyn Greens were one of the first Green locals to form in New York State. We have members from throughout the Borough of Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Greens meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, at 659 55th Street (between 6th and 7th avenues), first floor (push bottom bell). To arrive by subway, take the R train to 53rd Street or the N train to 59th Street. Please join us!

-- The fight against the Bush/Ashcroft destruction of the Constitution and the disappearing of immigrants (much good work is being done here by the South Asian group DRUM, with whom we hope to be working closer with; they've approached us about working with them and we intend to do so) -- What are Bloomberg's plans for pesticide spraying? The season for spraying is upon us -- Opposing the Bush drive for global war -- The gubernatorial race and the Greens need for 50,000 votes to maintain our ballot line -- Continuing work around the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and community gardens -- And the usual large list of activities we're involved in.
