Britney Jeau Spears, or more famously known as, Britney Spears, came into the world on the 2nd of December, 1981. Born in Kentwood, Louisiana, Britney was a small town girl hoping to make it as a singer.

Britney began performing at quite a young age. At the age of 8 she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. Although she wasn't old enough, a producer helped her secure an agent in New York City where Spears spent the next three years studying dance and music. She also had bit roles in commercials, theatre and films. At age of 11, Britney was old enough to earn herself a spot on the Mickey Mouse Club and starred on the popular show for two years, relocating with her family to Orlando. 

After her time period on television, Britney Spears returned to her hometown in Kentwood, Louisiana with her previous dreams of making it the music industry. Britney returned to New York, four years later, at the age of 15, along with her passion for music, and began to make the rounds of record labels. By singing accapella for Executives at Jive Records, Spears managed to get herself signed after her audition, which then lead to the work of her debut hit single, "...Baby One More Time."

With a debut single called "...Baby One More Time" which became #1 Worldwide, Britney Spears has definitely made an impact on the music industry. Ever since the release of the single, she has produced three very different, yet unique, albums titled, "...Baby One More Time", "Oops!...I Did It Again" and "Britney". As the years progressed, Spears' music has evolved into a more mature, upbeat sound, which critics have been more than satisfied of.
