Britney - a COKE ADDICT?
Britney Spears is suing Star Magazine, a supermarket tabloid, for saying she's a coke addict. Supposedly, their source was a young male who said he was in a toilet cubicle on November 14 in Miami's Crowbar Club watching Britney snort a line of white powder. "The only one who's guilty of doing cocaine has to be the source of the story," said Nathalie Moar, Spears' representative. Meanwhile, her recent fling with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst is genuinely in the toilet. He says Britney's life is "too out of control" for him to date her. Or maybe that's another line.

Oops I Want Him Again
Britney Spears left her ex-boyfriend's 22nd birthday bash in an LA club in tears because she couldn't get near him. Some 2000 revellers showed up to party with Justin Timberlake where Spears was set to sing a duet with him - Baby One More Time. "Christina (Aguilera), Alyssa (Milano) and Tara (Reid) and their bodyguards formed such a tight circle around Justin that Britney couldn't get near him. That's what started the waterworks," said a guest. Cheer up Brit - Justin left alone shortly after midnight.

JUSTIN PHONES BRITNEY
In light of all the fuss over Justin Timberlake's most recent music vid for Cry Me A River - where Justin, posing as a jilted lover, gets his own back on a Britney look-a-like - he gave his (maybe-not-so) ex-gal a call.

He says he wanted to make sure she wasn't offended by either the clip or all the publicity it has got.

"I didn't want things to get misunderstood. She was cool," Justin says. "There's no hard feelings."

BRITNEY BIZKITS
BRITNEY SPEARS AND Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst have got very close recently, now that Britney is collaborating with Fred for her upcoming album. And Limp Bizkit fans aren't happy!

Fans disappointed with Fred and Britney's friendship, posted notes on mtv.com calling her "skanky".

Fred responded on the band's official web site saying: "Anybody out there who has a serious problem with my feelings for Britney should just chill and worry about your own feelings for a minute. You can't help what happens in life because everything happens for a reason. I believe that. I am good judge of character and so is she. It just happens to be a person that I would [not] have thought could make me feel this way. And believe that I have never felt this way, so there. If you think I'm going soft then you go ahead and think it."

Persistent Wade
Australian dance choreographer Wade Robson insists he had nothing to do with the Justin and Britney break-up! He was quoted as saying, "We have never been romantically involved. We had a very close, creative relationship, but that's all. I was shocked by the break-up but there were more complicated things involved than just me."

BRITNEY AND JUSTIN KISS AND MAKE UP!
Pop super couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are back together! The two stars were spotted in New York getting into a chauffeur-driven jeep at around midnight. They were then seen entering Britney's New York apartment block.

"THEY WALKED INTO BRITNEY'S building hand in hand," reveals a source. "And once they were inside the lobby, they started making out and sucked face all the way to the elevators. They had their arms wrapped around each other. You'd never know that they'd broken up. Justin left alone three hours later, looking rumpled and happy."

Despite this reunion, Justin, in particular, is not convinced they're back together for good. "He wants to take thing very, very slow this time," continues a close friend. "As much as they love each other, they may see other people while they're dating. They're just gonna have fun getting to know each other all over again."

In a recent interview with US Rolling Stone magazine Justin revealed, "I really do still love that girl. I may not ever get over her.

"She has a beautiful heart. But if I've lost my trust in someone, I don't think it's right for me to be with them."

Responding to Justin's touching words, Brit replied, "I'm touched he loves me. A part of me will always love him because he was mt first love."

Leaving Britney for Christina
According to Australian magazine, New Weekly (NW), pop singers Christina Aguilera & Justin Timberlake (*N Sync) could be setting their eyes on each other.

The pair have been seen out on several occasions, fuelling speculation that Aguilera has set her sights on the former flame of her long-time rival, Britney Spears.

In fact, Brit left Justin's recent 22nd birthday party in tears because he was paying more attention to Christina.

Although they've enjoyed an intimate dinner recently and locked themselves in a hotel for an hour, Aguilera's associates deny any romance between the two. However, Timblerlake's anonymous pal claims they sometimes "date".

Oops I'm Single Again
Britney Spears' latest love interest, sexy Irishman Colin Farrell, may be a hot Hollywood actor, but his former wife has warned he's a top-shelf love-rat, too.

"Colin's great fun to be with, and will show any girl who's with him a wild time," says 20-year-old English actress Amelia Warner, whose warriage to Colin ended just four months after saying "I do" in Tahiti less than two years ago. "But he is just not ready for any committment... and will break your heart."

True to form, Colin, 26, locked lips with Brit at the premiere of his film The Recruit - as reported in last week's NW - but later that night an unidentified topless woman was photographed cavorting on his balcony.

Then, just after four days later, the hard-drinking and notoriously foul-mouthed actor dumped the 21-year-old pop star, claiming she "bugged him" and was "clingy", before being snapped arm-in-arm with a beauty known only as Julie.

Behave, Britney!
Worried family and management have staged an intervention in a bold attempt at getting one-time good girl of pop Britney Spears back on the right track.

They acted after reports of Britney making a spectacle of herself in various clubs with several romantic interests - from former boyfriend Justin Timberlake to Limp Bizkit rocker Fred Durst and more recently Hollywood bad boy Colin Farrell.

Called to an LA teleconference, Brit spoke to her New York manager, mum Lynne in Louisiana and other relatives.

Apparently the singer had been complaining about receiving bad press, but her family argued she was brinding it all upon herself.

"They said, 'You've got to lower your profile and get back to the studio.' She didn't take it too well," says an insider.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are living proof that nothing ends unless it ends badly. The former flames just can't help taking bery public digs at one another, with the most recent encounter seeing her snub his offer of a "hello" peck in a busy New York restaurant.

A mightily miffed Britney, apparently still fuming about Justin's inclusion of a two-timing Britney look-alike in the video for his single "Cry Me A River"; even played Justin's "Like I Love You" tune when took over the DJ booth in the funky restaurant.

When a bemused Justin went up to talk to her about it, Britney's bodyguards stepped in to keep him at arm's length.

BRITNEY DISSES MEXICO
BRITNEY SPEARS' recent trip to Mexico was an eventual one. Upon arrival, the swarn of photographers got the better of her and she stuck her middle finger up at them! As if that wasn't enough to strip the girl of her good image, she then stormed off the stage after only five songs with no explanation!

Her PR people later explained that weather reports had suggested an electrical storm was on its way, and for the safety of Britney and the staff, they were forced to cancel the concert.

"The whole stafe was lit up by lightning actually while we were performing," Britney commented. "Three of the dancers slipped and almost fell off the stage. Then the stage actually got hit by lightning. The stage is made out of metal and it just wasn't safe!"

BRITNEY WANTS TO GO HOME
Britney Spears has had enough. After riding on the wave of success for the past few years, the performer feels it is time to take a break before she wears herself out.
In recent months things have turned ugly for the blonde vixen. A very public break-up with *NSYNC boyfriend Justin Timberlake was preceded by a backlash from fans, sick and tired of her treatment of them. Only a few weeks ago she was booed off stage in Mexico where she stuck up her middle finger at photographers.
The New York Post reported a source close to the star saying, "Britney's lost it. She was really upset after she was booed and she's saying she is going to pack it in for two years. She's planning on moving back to Louisiana and living with her mother."
Cynics have sniggered that in reality her label has ordered the star, whose sales having been on a steady decline, to take a break from public view as she's suffering from "over exposure".

THE OPENING OF NYLA
Dinner, anyone? Our Britney has added restaurateur to her already impressive list of achievements with the launch of Nyla. Yep, her own very restaurant! Brit named the hip venue after her two favourite places - New York (NY) and Louisana (La). The menu's full of dishes with a Southern flair, while the space itself is decked out in Brit's favourite colours - cranberry, orchid and deep mango. "We wanted to create an environment that embodies Britney's image today - of a just blooming flower," the interior designer said. We're not really sure what that means, but it all looks good! The torrential rain kept some away from the launch, but those who did make it included rapper Ja Rule, magician David Copperfield and ... former teen wonder Debbie Gibson!? Britney, however, was an hour late for the opening and disappointed fans when she finally did arrive. After waiting two hours in the rain, they didn't even get a wave. Oops, she did it again!
Still, now even the weather could dampen Brit's enthusiasm. "I am so excited," she said. "This is going to be my new hangout." Just don't expect to see any signs of Justin Timberlake at the posh new eatery. First Britney had to change the name (it was to be called Pinky's, the pet name Justin called her). Now the "Justin" cocktail has been scratched from the menu too. Poor thing.

Justin Timberlake has taken time out from recording his first solo album to talk about that break-up with Britney Spears. And our boy has revealed he's still struggling to actually call the split with Brit a break-up. "It hurts to bad to say it," Justin says. "You get to a point where you're crying yourself to sleep at night." He went on to say that he felt like he was in the middle of a soap opera. "I honestly know what it's like to have a broken heart now." Justin says he's definitely unattached (forget rumours of a romance with 21-year-old *NSYNC dancer Jenna Dewan, and stories that he's back with Britney). For now, he just wants to enjoy life and focus on his career. But Justin still chats to Britney on the phone and says he "holds her in the highest light." "I love Britney, and I'll always love her," he says.

Rumour has it Brit's next film role may be as a racing care driver! If all goes to plan, filming will commence in October. "There is no title yet but the film is inspired by one of Britney's favourite movies, Days Of Thunder, which starred Tom Cruise," said one insider. "Tom played a hot-tempered Nascar racer - Britney wants to race too."

Britney Spears has trouble walking properly in high-heeled shoes. So much so, that the diva told reporters her feet sometimes turned outwards when she walked in heels and said the phenomenon was her most bizarre characteristic. "The way I walk with my feet turned out. It looks bad sometimes in heels," Spears was quoted as saying.

Britney's little sister Jamie Lynn is set to launch her own career. The girl's mother Lynn has been talking to some American TV networks about launching her 11-year-old daughter's career. "The network called last week about Jamie Lynn doing some work in television. Jamie Lynn is ecstatic. Britney and I are too, but we want a situation where she can still be a kid and have fun."

BRITNEY UPSET residents so much while filming a television commercial at 4am in an LA neighbourhood that one local actually threw a bucket of urine at her! Recent rumours circulating that Britney would be making an appearance on Sex and the City playing Kim Cattrall's niece have been dispelled by reps.
