Selected Essays of A.E. Waite
Scanned by A. Grinder

These essays (articles and book chapters) were a part of the Arthur Edward Waite site created by A. Grinder. Sadly, that site (adepti.com) no longer has these Waite essays online, although they are resurfacing on that site as PDF files. So that Waite’s writings may have a wider audience, and Grinder’s efforts may continue to benefit online Tarot enthusiasts, I have reproduced a few of the Waite essays on these pages. (The Brodie-Innes article was the basis for Waite’s rejoinder in the following article, The Tarot and Secret Tradition.)

The older adepti.com pages with these and other Waite writings can still be accessed via the Wayback Machine. The following link is to the page from which these essays were taken.

Grinder also published some of his posts from the TarotL mailing list on his site. As an example, here he discusses Waite’s view of Hebrew letter correspondences with the Tarot trumps.
