There are a lot of photos that have been taken at Catherines over the past 10 years. Several are even safe to view at work! Here are a whole pile from the early years and Joey Anderson has a set from 2007. Also from 2007, are the Kirsten Corris pictures, which focus heavily on the post-run festivities and from 2005, pictures from the course. There are more to come!

Tom Corris will be in charge of the cooking/partymeister again this year and Linda Wack will be leading the volunteer collection.

A trailwork/run is scheduled for July 8 for the CFA course. Last time we checked the trail is in pretty good shape, but then the rains happened. I am not sure if the rain took down any trees.



We are meeting at the Centreville Park n Ride (see VHTRC.org/general/park-ride-centreville.htm for directions) at 7am and the CFA start/finish area at about 9am. We will divide up to cover the various sections of trail.

Just bring along your cat if you come across a bear.

In 2005 the Catoctin 50k and Catherines Fat Ass runs were held the same weekend. This allowed people to run both tough summertime races back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Some runners did better than others on the second day. Most likely, the double will not happen again.
